That I seek God’s face,
When the wisdom I seek,
Is not there in it’s place,
But on those days,
When it’s hard to find,
I search from my heart,
& not with my mind
When I first found my Higher Power,
I at best had a timid devotion,
But with prayer & meditation often hour by hour,
What once was a droplet now is an ocean
The lilies of the valley are pretty,
& the peaks of the Rockies are intense,
God makes the country & the city,
All are His from there to hence
Here’s something to wrap your mind around,
Everlasting our souls are to be,
Without God in your life where will your’s be found,
For He is the only One to set you free

Stand steadfast with your Higher Power,
Though times can seem barbarous,
Remember there’s a purpose for every hour
If you have a tempest raging in your life,
Don’t pretend you needn’t a friend,
Ask God to stand by your side,
& he’ll be with you till the end
